Delivery & payment plans

• Paid in advance, locking in lower price for the gallons / amount paid for the winter months. 
• We'll look at your previous years propane usage, and give an average on gallons used.
• You may prepay for any amount of gallons / dollars. 
• No need to worry over payments in winter.    
• No finance or service charges.
• On-Route. We will fill your tank regularly, by default.  Schedule delivery on request.
• Prices are locked in, for that heating season, until the credited amount has been delivered, or up until March 31st*.
• After March 31st all credit remaining on account, can be rolled into the next years prepay, at the new prepay price, used as a credit on the next delivery, or returned to the customer. 

• Budget plans are available! Pay monthly for a low rate. First payment must be made by September.  Keep your payments at a low / manageable amount, spread out over ten months.
• Get your summer fill at summer pricing, the rest of your fills in the heating season will be at the budget price. 
• Budget customers pay 10 cents more per gallon than prepay customers for reserved gallons in the winter.  This still protects from increasing costs in the winter months, and lets customers spread out payments. 
• Locked in Budget:  For accounts that make payment on delivery, but cannot afford prepaying for every delivery.  Lock in the budget price in the summer, then pay in full within 10 days of each delivery to keep your prices at the summer budget rate.   
• Monthly Budget payments, on your estimated usage, we calculate the cost for the entire season of propane.  We then set up a monthly payment amount.  To be paid by cash, check or EFT manually.  You can automate your monthly payment through Credit Card. 
• Prices are locked in, for the heating season, until the budgeted amount has been delivered, if there has been failure to keep up payments, or up until March 31st*.
• No finance/service charges. If monthly payments, or on delivery payments are made.
• Keep your price per gallon low by signing up in June, July, or August!
• If payments are skipped, and no reason is given at the time, you will be dropped from the budget plan.  (Communicate if you'll have issues paying.)
• Locked-in and Monthly Budget customers accounts are to be balanced before starting on the next seasons budget plan.

• Auto-Pay  is available; you must sign a credit card authorization form, available on request. 
• EFT Payments (Bank Transfers) are available, you must sign an authorization form. 

• After March 31st all credit remaining on account, can be applied to next seasons budget plan, at the new seasons budget price, used as a credit on the next delivery, or returned to the customer. 
• On-Route by default, or schedule delivery on request.    

• We take cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover.

• We can make your invoices payable online, by card, or EFT (Bank Transfer.) You will be required to follow a emailed link to a Quickbooks / Intuit payment site.
• If you want to pay online, towards a outstanding balance, or to credit your account, request a payment link.  T-J Gas will send a (requested amount) link to pay toward your balance. 

• You can set up automated payments for any type of account. We need signed authorization.

• Your propane tank will be filled around 30%, on a route with other customers in your area.
• Our drivers check and fill your tank as needed, to keep you from running out of gas.,
• We also use Tank Monitors (property of T-J Gas.)  These read the level gauge of the tank, and report their status on an every-other-day or daily basis (to T-J Gas.)  They also send alerts to T-J Gas at certain level checkpoints.   We're rolling out more as we get them in.  Compatible with some gauges.  If you have an older tank, your gauge may need to be replaced (This would require your tank to be below 5% or empty.)
• If not already on a pre-pay or budget plan, payments are due within 30 days.
• If you happen to run out-of-gas as a on-route customer, no delivery / leak check fees apply.
• Your account must be in good standing to remain an On-Route customer. 

• Scheduled delivery customers are responsible for checking their tank, and contacting T-J Gas for delivery.
• Contact T-J Gas when your tank level reaches 30%, to allow for timely delivery.
• 250 gallons is the minimum delivery amount for a 500 gallon or larger tank for scheduled delivery customers. 
• Any scheduled delivery request must allow us to work the fill into our delivery route.  We require that you allow at least 48 hours for this.  We may deliver sooner if a truck is in the area.  if you're unable to wait for the truck on its scheduled route, there will be a $120(+tax) out of route / same day delivery trip charge.
• Our delivery hours are 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday.  If you require delivery after hours, as a scheduled delivery customer, you will be charged a $120(+tax) fee.
• Report the % of gas in the tank at the time of the request.  This allow us to prioritize / route deliveries.   If you're below 5% when we deliver propane we're required to do a systems check and you will be assessed a $120 (+tax) fee. 
• Any tank that is below 5% are required to have a systems / leak check done before the system can be restarted.  This requires a responsible adult (18 years old or more) to be present.
• Payments are due within 30 days, if not already on a pre-pay or budget plan.  

• Have a delivery when the prices are lowest cash price.
• Summer fill available in June, July, and August.
• Be sure to get a summer fill scheduled before  harvest begins.  
• Be prepared by topping off your tank before fall/winter comes!     

Due to transport costs, propane delivered;

• Under 200 gallons costs 20 cents more than cash price. 
• Under 100 gallons costs 30 cents more than cash price.
• There is delivery fee, in addition, for deliveries under 100 gallons, to larger tanks, Which can increase depending on the distance from our office.
• To any tank that is below 5% is required to have a systems / leak check done before the system can be restarted. This requires a responsible adult (18 years old or more) to be present. 

• Other cylinders, for grills, campers, lift trucks, and those that must be weighed to be filled accurately, are not to be filled off the bobtail. The bobtail pump is not designed to fill these small cylinders.  Cost to fill these cylinders is not tied to the cash price for bulk deliveries, and cost more per gallon.  Bring these tanks to the pump station at T-J Gas, and we'll fill them here. 
• Most small propane cylinders are designed to be transported upright! It is important to secure and safely transport these cylinders upright.  When reaching your destination, please immediately remove the cylinder from the vehicle and store it outside!
• Other small propane tanks, (i.e. RV built in tanks for heating / water heaters,) and similar function:  Are charged a delivery fee, when filled off-site and have a different pricing structure than filling regular house / shop cylinders. Call for details.

• Customers not on prepay / budget plan with a zero balance or credit, are filled at cash price by default. 
• Customers with past due/open propane invoices, may be billed at 10 cents per gallon over the delivery/cash price of propane, on new propane deliveries.  These customers are given 10 days to pay the discounted total that is hand-written on the new delivery ticket.   Upon full payment of the hand-written total, the difference is credited on the new invoice.   
• Accounts with outstanding past-due balances must arrange some payment before their next fill.  After 60 days you may be placed on a cash only basis for delivery.   If your account is past due, and you have not arranged a payment plan, T-J Gas may withhold provision of further products or services. 
• Customers with delinquent past due balances when starting a new heating season, must arrange to pay the past due balance before getting propane in the new season.

• Our credit policy is payment in full within 30 days of invoice date.
• A 1.5% monthly finance charge will be added to all accounts more than 30 days from the original invoice date.  Our finance charge is an 18% annual percentage rate. 
• On statements from T-J Gas Company a (-) sign in front of your amount due indicates a credit on your account.

• Please call for corn dryer pricing  · Pre-Pay and contract dryer gas is available.
• Delivery routes / special scheduling available for hog confinements, dairy operations
• Delivered either on a schedule or upon request. 
• Flexible delivery hours during corn-drying season.     

• Due to contracts with our suppliers we cannot hold pricing beyond March 31st of the year.
• Your price on the credit remaining, will be at the lowest prepay price for the next season.   
• The price of propane in the next season can be higher or lower than the previous season.
