Since 1980

In 1980, in Vinton John Anderson and Thomas Pingenot started a propane delivery, service, and supply company. Originally based out of an office behind John's Qwik Stop, and then in the old feed store on C Avenue

In 2019 we moved our offices out to our shop & bulk tank location off highway 218 on the northwest corner of Vinton .

Clean burning & efficient, propane is a great solution for home, business, and agricultural heating / drying, T-J Gas quickly grew and now services parts of Benton, Buchanan, Black Hawk, Delaware, Linn, and Tama Counties.

Staff

Our Service / Delivery Personnel are Rodney Evens, Ryan Cummings (delivers south of the Cedar River,) and Scott Good (delivers north of the Cedar River)

In the office Aaron and Tom Pingenot are now joined by Carrie Yedlik to help you with your propane solutions.

Propane Solutions & SnoWonder Snow Scoops

We are a propane supplier and distributor/installer of propane tank systems, gas water heaters, furnaces, water softeners, fireplaces, fireplace parts, generators, grills, grill parts, propane grill cylinders and supplies.

In 1999 the CoreCraft Fiberglass Company of Bemidji Minnesota discontinued production of a wide fiberglass snow scoop known as the SnoWonder. The owner of T-J Gas had been a long time user of their product. Wanting to see production continue T-J Gas then purchased the SnoWonder business and now sells the SnoWonder Worldwide.
